I'm the only one who's ever left my narcissist. He forced all the rest out with his treatment of them. I beat him to the punch and found out he had 2 girlfriends. Worst day of my life, confronting him and seeing no soul in those eyes and an amused smirk. It sent me on a journey to figure out who he was and why. I'm also the only one still in his life that has seen the mask off. We have a child, so he can't fully discard me. I've even suported and compared notes with his girlfriends after.

Yep. He was stunned alright. I got the " but why?" And the crocodile tears. Well, Why do you think Narc? I practically skipped away, so glad to finally leave. My life is so much better now. My freedom and my peace is bliss. ✨

She said once- that I always come back to her. She never thought I would leave, 4 weeks no contact- I’m sure she is missing me the “atm $ “ part of me and that’s it.

I often wonder if it was a reverse discard. But he was stunned when I left, and stalked, harassed and assaulted me for 5 months until police, just to try and get me back. But he was treating me significantly worse and the abuse increased just before I left. So I have no idea which it was.

He and his family trashed and lied about me in the community after I left. Thank goodness most did not believe them. He was pushing me to sign over our house to him. I finally did it but I was given the massive payout on his end as I had documentation. He cracked.

Oh absolutely! First he spent 2 weeks trying to be nice and when I didn't respond he finally asked if I was really done. I said yes. Then he said he was "sorry for everything" and a day later told me I had to tell our twins bc it was my fault. He lived with me for 6 months "looking for an apartment" and I started bugging him to move out and he didn't know what to do. Almost a year after he moved out and the divorce is FINAL!

My covert set me up to leave and cut the ground out underneath me, then stonewalled me once I continued to question his choice of a malignant narcissist as the president of our company. I have been his creative partner and friend for a decade, but he would not allow me to question his choice and trust in someone convicted by the SEC of defrauding 33 people out of $23 million. To question his choice was to reject him, so he rejected me. And yes, he told the classic victim story of “gee, we don’t know what happened, but obviously she couldn’t adapt to the new progress.” Tough days. Now really thankful for them and the healing and growth that they ended up producing.
