one time we were so busy and drive thru was taking forever cause of a man constantly complaining about his order he was there for 18 mins, holding up everyone else. I apologised to the very last car so many times and he must have seen how stressed we all were rushing about and before he left he goes “i’m proud of you all. Don’t stress, you’re doing a very good job.” i was gobsmacked

i was crashing out and crying and then my regular came in and he kept reassuring me that his food was good and that i was doing a good job.. as soon as he left i went to the back and started balling tf outt 😭 i could not serve anymore cuz i couldnt stop crying. couple months later his son comes in and asks for his dad's regular order just to tell us that his dad passed away 😭💔 i was shattered. may he rest in peace my fav customer 💜

I once was left to work by myself at the DQ I worked at and let me tell you this place had no chill. Legit the longest lines you’d ever seen. A man made me cry because his blizzard took too long and he yelled at me and I said sir I’m trying my best but I’m by myself. I was bawling my eyes out but I had to take the next customer. I went to the window and was gonna ask what I could get them but I started crying again instead they told me to take my time and a couple deep breaths then they ordered dilly bars (the easiest thing to order) and they bitched out the man that yelled at me to the point he gave me a $20 tip

One time I did an order wrong, I gifted it to him bc I was too stressed and tired to throw it away. He was genuinely so happy and said, that no one gifted him anything ever. He told me to take my time and he was so understanding. I hope he‘s doing well

I dropped someones whole tray of food up the stairs and they rushed to me helped me up and helped me clear up the food and told me to clean myself up they can’t wait it’s no rush they were the sweetest people ever
