Uhm… she didnt throw it all away bc of her friends/bf…. She threw it all away bc she realized what you have to be in this industry. You have to step on people. And she didnt want to do that. That is what she was walking away from.

that's an interpretation quite far from reality... she never wanted to work for rubaway in the first place and she only took the job to get experience as a journalist, she doesn't leave it bc of her boyfriend or her friend but bc she has seen Miranda's life and does not want that for herself. The boyfriend and friends are wrong and annoying but please let's not kill media literacy

My favorite movie and I have seen it to the point where I annoy my family with it. I could’ve sworn she left because she saw what was done to Nigel. Even though she did it to Emily, she didn’t see it from an outside perspective until she saw it with Miranda and Nigel & she regretted doing it to Emily and her way of making it better was to give Emily the clothes. She didn’t want to be Miranda - which is applauded, I mean Miranda made her life seem horrible.

I THINK YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND THE MOVIE, that's a movie about awful bosses and a women who based her life being the opposite of all the girls she worked with because SHE BELIEVED it was disgusting and superficial, then SHE takes a JOB and puts her life and relationship at the bottom, MIND YOU all of this in A MONTH 🤣 at the end she's still not getting a career after being a simple secretary

Is it just me who doesn’t hate her friends? She was good at her job but hated it. It wasn’t her real passion and her friends were merely concerned bc they knew that. Her work-life balance was terrible too so there’s no reason she should’ve stayed.

She didn’t give it up for Nate, he was already gone by then and they didn’t get back together, or her friends. She gave it up after seeing what Miranda did to Nigel and realising what she had done to Emily, and that it would take becoming someone she wasn’t and didn’t want to be to succeed at Runway.

No its bc she litterally saw the future she could have if she continued. Yes it seems fun and yall but she also saw the backstage - the way her husband left her, the betrayls, the stepping on ppl jst so u can move hugher on the pyramide. She didn't want that.
