Why do ppl say they’re “not kpop” when they were created thru a kpop methodology and follow the kpop promotion blueprint under hybe.. and their entire documentary was centered around them being able to be “kpop idols” or fit “kpop standards”

they aren't kpop but they do kind of have that kpop vibe since we aren't used to seeing other countries produce girl groups like this. they are on both korean and american record label. global group with the korean pop vibes
