## 🔹 **According to Surah At-Tawbah 9:100:**
Allah Almighty clearly says:
**"...And the foremost to embrace Islam of the Muhajirun (emigrants) and the Ansar (helpers), and also those who follow them in the best way — Allah is pleased with them and they are pleased with Him..."** (*Surah At-Tawbah, 9:100*)
According to this verse:
- **Umar (RA)**, **Abu Bakr (RA)**, and **Uthman (RA)** were among the **Muhajirun** and among the **earliest to accept Islam**.
- Allah Himself has declared that **He is pleased with them**.
## 🔸 **Then why do Shia call Hazrat Umar (RA) and others 'disbelievers'?**
According to **Shia belief** (especially **Twelver Shia / Ithna Ashari**):
- After the Prophet Muhammad’s ﷺ death, they believe that **only Ali (RA)** had the rightful claim to **Khilafah (leadership)**.
- They hold that **Abu Bakr, Umar, and Uthman** took the caliphate **unjustly**.
- Because of this, some **extremist Shia groups** use **harsh language** against them — even going as far as calling them **disbelievers (kafir)**.
## 🔹 **The view of Ahl al-Sunnah wa’l-Jama‘ah (Sunni Muslims):**
- Hazrat **Abu Bakr**, **Umar**, and **Uthman** are among the **most beloved companions** of the Prophet ﷺ and the **pillars of Islam**.
- Allah has declared them **among the people of Paradise** (in Surah At-Tawbah 9:100 and other verses/hadiths).
- Speaking ill of them is, in reality, going against **Allah's decision** — and this is considered **misguidance**.
