Love this so much. Trust me I know all about doing it because it’s not only easier for him but for me. I always have to take a minute and say, nope no rushing let him do it. I’m so happy that it was so successful today and I can hear it in your voice how empowered you feel as well which is very important because that energy will spread to all your beautiful children. Thank you so much for this I really needed to hear this…it is such a struggle but more so when there isn’t a support system for me. I’m having issues with the school and I need an advocate for him with the school cuz they aren’t listening or helping me. It’s frustrating and then I feel like I’m failing him but I know in my heart I’m not it’s just how I feel ya know. I just want the best for him and want him to succeed and I don’t want to fall apart so I can be the absolute best mom and best advocate/caregiver for him. It’s so hard for someone who can’t speak/communicate and then insurance doesn’t want to help with his actual needs and I don’t have the finances to buy the things he truly needs. I just feel stuck right now. Anywho I was just encouraged by you today and wanted to say thank you friend. You are doing great and have come so far since I first got in here!!! 💗
