Met on bumble. But he’s in MI and I’m in WA. But 4 years later, it’s great. Built in boundaries, don’t have to compromise everything, move homes, coparent kids etc. Works really well!

Ok, late 50’s guy here. I disagree with most of the comments from other guys I’m seeing on here. After my divorce, I got on a couple dating apps and I went on about 60-70 first dates in under a year. Some of the women just weren’t a match, some were so far off from their profile (looks, age, weight etc) that it should have been considered fraud. I have no doubt that Lisa and many other women experience the same thing. I think you’re doing it right. I think I got lucky in meeting my wife 60-70 dates in and that was 6.5 years ago and it’s been great ever since. It’s just not that easy to meet someone at this age. We have some seriously developed ways in which we live and see life and that makes it that much more difficult to find a match. What I will say is don’t be afraid to go on a second date with someone that was just “meh” on the first date. There were NO sparks on the first date that my now wife and I went on. It was perfectly fine, but neither of us thought we had met our forever partner. As we really got to know one another, the bond grew to something neither of us had ever experienced. Good luck Lisa!

I have told some of my female friends to date date date as long as you walk at the sign of any and all red flags. Do not kiss even a peck until at least the 3rd date and just find that needle in your proverbial “hay stack”

I met mine at a ranch where I ride horses. He used to ride there and was getting back to it after his divorce from 2 years prior. My advice: do what you love so you find people with similar interests. Even if you don’t meet a man, you’ll make new friends and have fun!

I have a landscaping company and I met my wife when she can over to visit her elderly aunts while I was doing a job for them! When I saw her I was like no way I have a chance but I kept bugging her aunts about who she was and they finally gave me the scoop and got me set up to talk to her! 😂😂 the rest was history!

I met my wonderful husband in 2011 on Match. After I dated on/off from 2004. Unfortunately, he passed away in 2022. 💔 Started dating again in Summer 2024. Found a great bf in Fall 2024 on FB dating. I have everything you listed. He enhances my life.

Lisa... Yes... This is a tough age... Dating scene is chaotic now ...15 years ago it took me 250+ attempts, 56 real dates, Joined church singles group, the winner= EHarmony site. ..found a wife!... Keep taking action! Stay strong!
