I love hearing a different reaction than mine to The Compound. I can see why you felt this way. For me, I loved that the reality show made the desperation for survival more palatable for the viewers in their world. It’s a way to brush under the rug what is happening to the viewers in their real lives if they’re focusing on these contestants. Thank you for your thoughts!

Loved the Amalfi curse but the end as kind of flat for me. The bad guy just leaves… and the other storylines just wrapped up in like 5 pages without much explanation.

I loved The compound and was indifferent to don't let him in. I enjoyed the audiobooks but it read more like a literary fiction than a thriller and it felt unnecessary of a story to tell.
