@garycomehome22: and yet they’ll never win. you’re still shining. but no one ever talks about how earth-shattering it is when the one trying to dim your light.. was once a friend. it’s a different kind of betrayal - psychological warfare disguised as ‘drama.’ so many evil, strategically calculated layers to it that seem to go unnoticed by everyone else. it’s complex, targeted, yet so immature & sad the way that one persons self-made bitterness & jealousy can ripple into such deceit, and suddenly people who knew you well and others who don’t at all have now decided who you are. no questions asked! having this sort of thing happen at such a young, formative age changes you, you’re still figuring yourself out at 13-16 and so on, carrying on into adulthood… (yeah, some people don’t progress past middle school i’m realizing!) how does someone who claims to hate me, simultaneously watch my every move & steal my identity? it’s complex, it’s isolating, and it’s frankly terrifying how easily people’s perceptions of you can be hijacked overnight. it takes time to recover and to trust again, but you’re much stronger now for it & true colors deffffinitely come out. some of y’all might just be a bit color blind though. speaking my truth 2025 -D
