i told my boss I could pick up EXTRA day shifts (I worked overnight) she took me off nights completely and hired a replacement without telling me. she thought one shift a week was ok to offer me. when I told her no, and that another job offered me more hours and better pay she said she couldn't match pay. I told her I didn't want any of that I told her all I wanted was my old schedule back because it wasn't me that messed up (she agreed it wasn't my fault that she misunderstood). I told her I did the job better (she agreed), that people preferred working with me(she agreed), customers liked me better (she agreed) and that I was more open to criticism and learning than the new girl (she agreed) but still told me no, because the new girl had a little baby at home to take care of. so do I, I have a son too and I don't have family to hand the kid off to all the time like she did. she didn't even want the shift. she switched to days first chance she had, I WANTED that shift, they've been through 4 replacements since I left

you know this shit fictional as soon as the first employer countered. Several years ago, my buddy had a superior leave, and bc he bssically understood the job...he assumed his supervisors role while covering his position obligations. The company @JCI Industries hired a supervisor for him..and instead of letting hm matriculate into the new position they told him YOU have to train a brand new hire to be YOUR boss....he started job hunting immediately. 90% of businesses once they are established are nepotistic unrealistic bullshit

I had a job that required me to have our job posting always up and I had to conduct at least one interview a week even if I wasn’t hiring. I always felt so bad giving them interviews either false hopes. Plus it felt like a waste of my time. And usually by the time I had spots open to hire all the people I actually liked had found something else and the one’s actively applying were terrible.

lol 3 jobs in 8 years no resume used but always hired in a week jobless is. no degree. Just know alot. and show up to businesses after applying to schedule interviews in person to put application to face. always works.

I was a supervisor in a warehouse making 21.50 an hour and they hired a kid that was 8 years younger than me and was paying him 30.75 and I had to train him and after a month and a half I still had to hold his hand because he still couldn't do the basics.
