@createacolorfullife: If you had to define your sense of style in one word what would it be? For me obviously colorful but there’s so much more to it than that. Style is so personal. It can be hard to find and hard to define. If you’re struggling to find your home style this is what I suggest. Go to and create a new moodboard. Start with a general search of a style you think you like, modern, minimal, farmhouse, eclectic, beachy, Scandinavian, traditional (to name a few) Pin anything you like. Once you pin a few the algorithm will share more of the same. Go crazy for a while. Pin a lot. It doesn’t have to be only one style. Pin what speaks to you. Then we narrow it down. Create a second board. Start to look through your pins and save the absolute favorites to the second board. Next, you need to analyze. What are common themes. Is it a color palate, is it a furniture style, is it attainable? Yes French doors overlooking the sea is amazing but that style is not going to translate to my small home. We can’t change our architecture so focus on what we can change. Delete any pins that no longer make sense. Ones that are purely aspirational and not practical. If you see a particular piece of furniture you like, sometimes Pinterest lets you shop or search those items right when you click on them. You can also screenshot images and upload them into google to help you find them in real life.
