You get the same performance.... Hybrid graphics , using 2 monitors connected to the motherboard , each GPU is dealing with one monitor ( main GPU only for games , the integrated GPU desktop, browsing and so on ) Tested in a couple game, same fps, lower render time ..no DIFFERENCES

I can't be the only one to know that you can pick the GPU (iGPU or dGPU) in Windows and even assign which one will be used per app regardless of where you connect the monitor.

im confused by this. on my last computer I switched my monitor to my motherboard from my gpu so I could have my HTC vive plugged into my gpu instead with hdmi. I noticed no difference at all in non vr games switching from hdmi in my 1070 to hdmi in my motherboard. I got a 5070ti with display port to my monitor now so either way its a non issue for me but sometimes I still game on my 1070 pc and even when not using vr I just leave the hdmi in the mb also my cpu is 5 years older than the 1070 and im 80% sure its not integrated graphics but even if it was they wouldn't be on par with a 1070...

if u ever have an issue where ur display won't show with your gpu but only your motherboard easy fix. most common reasons you have to update latest nvidia or amd update for your gpu. the way u do this is plug ur monitor into ur motherboard so u can actually have ur display show. then u can use ur pc and update the graphics card. after updating u can then restart ur pc or power it down and then move the hdmi cord or display cord whichever you prefer back to your gpu. then it should work. if this doesn't work then the slots to your gpu could be shot. aka broke
