@walterlazzo9: my relationship with drinking has changed throughout the years, but it’s always been something i can depend on to escape myself for a bit whether that was from my social anxiety, insecurities, body dysmorphia, or depression. the relief was temporary. i started feeling better about myself once i stopped doing things because i thought i had to for people to like me, and chose to do things only for me. I figured out how to feel about myself through calming my mind, finding growth and confidence in my daily habits, connecting with people that bring out the best in me, and working towards a healthy body and mind.
