‘It’s her first time living too’ is so damaging because saying that to someone to excuse someone who chose to have children is wild. I spoke to my mum once in 5 years before she died I am so relieved that I can just say that she’s dead instead of explaining how damaging she is and how I don’t have a mum.

I have also been no contactvwith my mother for around 2 years and in all realness in the last two years,you life is so much better. I am thriving, I am making life progress. I am happier and it is very clear what or should I say who the negative influence in my life was and since I removed it, things are clearly going good for me. Never feel ashamed or guilty or anything for having to make this kind of hard decision. you did it for you. for your peace. for your mental health and your sanity. going fully no contact with my mother was the best decision I ever made.

So this happened to me but, and I did the same. Fast forward to me getting a text to say she was in the icu with sepsis, I spent over a month in Spain whilst she was in an induced coma before she died, I was there when she passed. I’m not sure how I feel now about blocking her I know it was as for the right reasons but…
