People use the word curate so lazily these days. Having been a museum curator I’ve actually been considering making a video about the historic meaning of the word curate recently. I think it’s finally time. Also, agreed. Going Rogue, great podcast.

exactly!!! curating/editing is an inherently exclusionary practice, it's one of the highest forms of soft power. that's why we should pay attention to who occupies top posts in media (especially cultural media, like vogue) and demand things from our tastemakers.
