where i am from it's an 8hr wait daily at our local DMV regardless, you can beat it if you start the line at 5:30. they open at 8 a.m.

I do everything online. If I have to go in, I make an appointment. The office on the corner of 24 hwy and Sterling in Independence/Sugar Creek. I don’t know if you can make appointments elsewhere.
