Trucks are made cheaper haha. If you live in the northeast, that 2020 Sierra will be rotted out in 5 years with a snapped frame

I know this isn’t apart of the video but what does it mean when your oil pressure is above half after I got a new oil change on my 2020 ram 1500 Laramie?

Chevy half ton frames have always been the worst. But they still last 20 years and that’s more than GM cares about. Your example of a great frame (gmt400) are famous for folding in half behind the cab when they get picked up on a car lift after spending some years in a north winter. Get real.

I think that’s for impact issues Easier than total out and absorb impact Just guessing at 30 year-old truck you’re running that that’s like hitting a tank dead stop

The Frames embodies on new cars are not designed for longevity. They're designed for crash management. The truck is designed to keep you alive. They don't care how much it carries. They don't carry how long it's gonna to last. It just has to save you in an accident. it's specially designed ultra, high straight steel. You can look it up

How do you "look at these new frames rusting out in ten years" when it's only 5 years old 🤷🏻‍♂️

There is no rust holes on the channel frame because you can was the salt off of it and it won't hold water like a tube frame will

I have a first gen Tacoma witch are known to have bad rusting with there o style frames and in later gens of Tacomas used c frames to prevent rust. I do think it still has something to do with quality because my Tacomas 25 years old and has minimal surface rust
