I graduated with my degree in meteorology last May and wanted to join the NWS. They were facing staffing issues before they decided to slash staffing because they don’t like science. It also caused a shortage of available positions to the point where I still don’t have a job in the field in which I have a degree. I am hopeful I will be able to get in on this new round but it should never have been in doubt.

you assume it was 47s decision. I think l, just like when they fired the folks originally, it is the staff, who is more incompetent than him, that made the decision and then just threw something for 47 to sign telling him something to the effect of "this is going to save lives" without ever mentioning why those lives were lost in the first place. Somehow the staff is more incompetent than 47 and I didn't think that was possible.
