@stripclips_: [S01E03 - Jet-Powered 1958 VW Pickup] Perry Watkins’ ‘58 VW pickup is one of the main on-track attractions at Bug Jam! It spent its early life on a farm out in the USA in Oklahoma and now has had an extensive makeover with the addition of a Rolls-Royce Viper 535 jet engine, strapped to the back! The best part is that Perry has kept the internal combustion engine in it too! He drives it from the pits to the track and when he’s finished his run, he switches back to the internal combustion motor and drives it back to the pit! Just watch how the shockwaves of the afterburner make the whole place shake and look at that Pepsi bottle! The Race Control tower really rocks back and forth - it’s quite the ride!
