I'll be back in December. This is Miyama in Kyoto. In Japanese, it's "Kayabuki no Sato." This is a district where thatched-roof houses have been preserved in their original state. It has been designated as a nationally important preservation district for groups of traditional buildings. It's also great that it's a tourist destination but not overly commercialized. The mountains, rivers, and seasonal flowers somehow give you a nostalgic feeling of the good old days of Japan. In December, there is a famous event called the simultaneous water release, which I want to see and share with everyone, so I plan to come back here to take photos. It's about a two-hour train and bus ride from JR Kyoto Station. Please come and visit! ——————Spot overview📝—————— ①◯ Kayabuki no Sato(the Village of Thatched Roof Houses) 🚃🚌From "Kyoto Station" take the train to "JR Hiyoshi Station" for about 50 minutes.
