I'd assume what they were trying to imply is that Scandinavians are still vikings, which of course isn't true I think we mostly embrace it because of history and because it's a big tourism income, but regardless it's a fun song and I don't see any problem with it

Does this reflect negatively or positively on vikings, though? Is it a bad thing for vikings that they are associated with this, or is it unfairly favoring them? Should other groups also be highlighted and have a focus in the literature? More research is needed.
