@adrianawongmd: About a month ago, I posted what I was packing in my L&D hospital bag and got so many helpful recs for what to bring. In true FTM form, I totally overpacked so here’s the run down of what I actually used! The absolute essentials for me were my daily toiletries/makeup products, long phone charger, shower shoes, compression socks (wear these during the whole admission to help prevent swelling!!), snacks, and comfy outfit for the drive home. I totally thought I was going to be wearing my own cutie PJs and cuddling in my fuzzy blanket but truthfully there’s just so much fluid in the whole process (amniotic fluid, lochia, urine- sorry for the visual it’s gross but it’s true…) that I ended up using the hospital gowns and linens instead.
