Poor lady, she is lost. I hope that she can find some ease and comfort. It almost feels like she is overwhelmed and possibly taken advantage of in the past and this would explain the older daughter’s reaction.

The oldest daughter I think was just being protective because she doesn't want her mom taken advantage of. She is probably holding everything together with her job so I don't blame her for not wanting to be late.

The oldest probably is the main caretaker and was suspicious this was some kind of scam. And honestly when she asked and he kept declining to explain it gives red flags that it could he a scam. She was fine and within reason to act that way

Some of you are acting like you’ve never seen a mental illness before. Bonnie isn’t ungrateful, she is confused and doesn’t quite understand that she is being gifted money. Just because people don’t have the reaction that you would expect or want to see doesn’t mean they’re any less worthy of receiving the help.

Listen, guys. Let’s give the oldest daughter some grace. I’m sure she’s an amazing person. I think the mother might be mentally unwell — she seemed a bit unstable, and from my own experience, it gave me that impression. It’s possible the oldest daughter is the main source of income for the family.

The oldest is definitely the “mom” of the house. Once she left, she called the youngest and sent her out, so she wasn’t by herself with them. They are definitely being protective and I’m sure for good reason.
