🙋 trans kid from a conservative household. I came out when I was 17, it was not received well, went so deep back in the closet that I'm now 35 and just started opening that part of myself up again.

That rhetoric is also not true, my friend who is now a trans man didn’t come out until after he left home after high school because his parents were conservative and he knew that they would not accept him as he was. So even conservative parents have trans kids
