I live in one of the proposed redistricting areas in Houston, TX that also got redistricted in 2021. So I had Dan Crenshaw (redistricted in a good way bc only 2 blocks from Sheila Jackson Lee's office), then she died, then Sylvester Turner, who died 1 month into replacing her, now no one for a whole year, then special election, then possibly redistricted to Lizzie Fletcher... so 5 reps in 5 years in which one was a dead year of no reps. Also no representation in HISD school district because of state takeover and Greg Abbott now trying to remove my State Rep. Can you say taxation without representation?? Only good news is our DSA chapter is growing!
