Engineer here. LLMs are a LONG way away from coding anything you would actually put into prod. It may code a simple app, but it will not make the architectural decisions REQUIRED for production ready apps.

I uploaded a contract to ChatGPT and then asked it to help me find answers. It gave me a particular answer and I couldn't find it in the contract. I asked it three different ways still couldn't find it. I said can you give me a quote that I can search for out of the contract, then it said oh it's not actually in the contract! Like what?! Why is it just making up answers?

I got personal experience of just how much powerful 5 is with the coding, it took me 4 months to make an app that "works" with 4 with 5 it made the same app with 1 prompt, in a couple of hours I had a fully fledged app with tons of extra features it was amazing

The issue is that the demo was about coding and using cursor. You are right about app building . But, the learning curve is massive if you want to build correctly and with security on no code platforms. in my field (social worker;education) it is not good at all. Hence, why building your own ai agent is important. I train in ai, and my clients are still using it for emails and don’t want to be coders or developers.

I’ve been trying tic build an app with it… doesn’t seem to work for me… says it takes days… always comes back broken. Nothing works. People claiming they build games and apps in minutes or hours and I can’t even seem to build anything but a damn list for me 🙄 won’t even do renders or mock ups even remotely close to what I wanted. Always have to correct it and it still doesn’t get anything right wtf am I doing wrong. Why do I feel like I’m the only one with a defective chat gpt

im getting mixed signals on my fyp. one one hand i hear to not use AI bc it is destroying the planet and draining our drinking water, then i get the narrative that I absolutely need to use it if i intend to stay relevant in life 😭

study mode w thinking mode and canvas is a monstruosity. And of course Canva for document maker or README.md maker is brutal. You can edit and correct mistakes. unfortunately deep research is super limited. I heard that Deep research feature is just an agent workflow with an model so idk. GPT 5 is interesting
