@foodmymuse: Cherries Jubilee a la Nadia 🍒 with ice cream and shaved chocolate on top…as a kid my favorite chocolate was cherries cordial so wanted the same vibes and it hit the spot! Truly, the perfect summer dessert. I would say this is enough for 4-6. Ingredients: * 1 1/4 lb cherries. * 2-4 tbsp brown sugar (depending on how sweet you want them, I did 3 tbsp). * 4 oz bourbon. * Pinch of salt. * 2 tsp vanilla. * Orange zest and juice of half. * 1/3 cup luxardo cherries + 3 tbsp of the syrup. * 4 tbsp unsalted butter. * Vanilla ice cream. * Dark chocolate to taste. Directions: 1. Remove the pit from the cherries and slice half of them in half. 2. Place dark chocolate in the freezer while you cook them. 3. Preheat your stainless steel pan for 2 min. Add the butter. Once melted add the cherries, salt and sugar. 4. Let them caramelize on medium high for 3-4 min. Add in vanilla, orange zest and juice. Let them cook for another 3-4 min. 5. Add in luxardo cherries and syrup . Turn heat on to high, add in bourbon. Be careful because it’ll flame. 6. Once flame goes out, lower heat to medium Let it reduce and get sirupy. About 3-5 min. 7. Top it with ice cream and shave chocolate on top. #cherries #flambe #dessert #summercooking #icecream #heresmyfood #makeitdelicious #cherriesjubilee #cherrycordial
