OKAY something I talk about a lot is how some of the best artists (talent/devotion wise) that I know will not end up being great because they don’t LIVE heart forward. They cower into easier choices. Allow their avoidance or capitalistic mindset or desire to succeed override their true voice, the wisdom begging for them to be vivacious in the choices in their LIFE. Not just their art. But to go against what people think you should do and actually do what they deeply yearn to. To become gracious.

Everyone talks about escaping the matrix… Money Override by Donald Black literally shows us how. People are crazy for missing it haha.

But… I am noticing I am suffering for my art and I don’t want to suffer anymore.. unfortunately I’m now climbing the mountain of cringe through marketing myself because I will not die without a roof over my head or working another job.. I have no plan b

this is unrelated but it took a very long time for me to realise that poster you often film in front of is NOT a greenscreen-ed background

I don’t disagree, but the unfortunate reality is if you’re trying to make your art your career, you do unfortunately have to play the game to varying extents. I learned I wasn’t willing to for my own art and relegated it to my own niche work with its own niche interested parties. Howie isn’t wrong and Marc isn’t wrong, they’re just on two different but related topics.

Sometimes I definitely want to stop making content and just focus on getting better at what I do. But at the same time, social media has become a part of my motivation for making stuff.

Do you ever worry that you use so much hyperbole that it won't actually mean anything when you need to communicate something important?

this is a topic I linger on daily. it’s crucial!! crucial!! the performance is the main focus rather than the art. performance in numbers, views, money, and success whatever that is in our head that we are conditioned to think.

So many people just want to be famous…and do there is little to no passion behind what they do and it SHOWS! Our society is OBSESSED either way fame and it ruins art!

Art isn’t a product. It’s a process. That’s why no one wants to spend time developing talent and honing skills because if there’s no way to monetize it, it’s for naught.
