@jeremy_miner: Prospect: *beginning of call* “Hey, how are you doing today?” Sales Person: “I’m doing good, just working hard.”❌ This doesn’t really hurt you, but it doesn’t really help you… Every sales person they’ve ever spoke to before has probably replied to them the same exact way, so in their mind, they’re viewing you no different than every other sales person Instead do this… Prospect: *beginning of call* “Hey how are you doing?” Sales Person: “Oh you know… just trying to stay out of trouble. You getting in trouble over there?” (playful tone) This is a simple disarming technique to get them to laugh and start opening up and engaging with you.
