Not knocking bjj, It's a great martial art, but there are other arts that do the same as far as teaching and educating a young child basics in life, as far as what you had mentioned. Muay Thai has combatics. Karate has combatics. Wrestling has combatics. Taekwondo has combatics and they all teach the basic core principles of respect, work hard through struggles, and never give up... and the instructors would do the same with a rude child, to lay the law down...

sure sounds good but jiu jitsu instructors are not gods adults treat them like they are. Its not a cult its a sport and just cause the belt is black does not make them gods. Everyones got the jiu jitsu bug these days but its very often not for everyone.

Football same hard things introduction plus the ability to learn real team building skills. Helicopter your child and you will ruin them. Expose them to hard things that require grit and persistence to overcome, and the victory that will follow is sweeter than anything you can hand your child.
