@lords.revelation: 1. I SURRENDER MY WILL AND DESIRE TO GOD. This is the hardest and holiest part. The flesh wants control. It wants comfort. It wants validation. But every day, I have to ask: "God, what part of me is in the way of what You want to do?" It's not enough to "mean well" or "try my best." I need to actually lay down the parts of me that still crave sin, applause, or convenience more than God. Galatians 5:24 "Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires." This means giving up: ·The need to be right. ·The desire to be seen. ·The comfort of compromise. In prayer say, "God, I give You my desires today, reorder them, purify them, and burn away anything in me that competes with You." 2. I DENY MYSELF AND PICK UP MY CROSS. Every Single Day. This one is real because the flesh doesn't just go away quietly. It kicks, screams and justifies. But Jesus made it plain: following Him requires dying to self. Luke 9:23 "If anyone would come after Me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow Me." So I ask: ·Am I willing to look foolish for Christ? ·Am I willing to say "no" to what feels good to say "yes" to what is holy? ·Am I choosing obedience when it's inconvenient? When I want to act out, clap back, give in, or giveup...I stop, breathe, and choose obedience. 3. I FEED MY SPIRIT MORE THAN MY FLESH. You cannot starve your spirit and expect your flesh to die. The more I feast on the Word, prayer, worship, and truth, the less power the flesh hasover me. What I feed will grow. What I starve willweaken. Romans 8:13 "For if you live according to the flesh, you will die, but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live." This is why I protect my quiet time, environment, and consumption (what I watch, listen to, read). I wake up and choose to feed my spirit first. Before social media. Before people. Before food. Before anything else I go to God. Killing your flesh isn't a one-time thing. It's a daily decision and a posture of the heart. If it feels hard, you're not doing it wrong, you're in the fight, and God gives grace for the process and power for the progress. If this speaks to you type "Set me free from lust Lord"
