My 26 year old son is still at home with us, and we don’t charge him a dime, and he is a nurse. We don’t need or want his money. What we do want is for him to save as much as he can, so when he is ready to move out, he is prepared financially. If he decides he wants to stay for the rest of his life, we are ok with that too because life is hard these days and his dad and I are supposed to be his safe place. We will always be that for him regardless of what the rest of the world may think.
