As someone who studied animals yes this enclosure is too small. However all the enrichment in the enclosure is perfect and this is a very good temporary set up! Hamster is happy and not showing any unusual behaviours so there is no problem for now!

the cage is too small... for a Syrian hamster. that is a russian dwarf, they are small enough for a cage that size to be perfectly alright!
