Sproutsidy on Bluesky! Go check them out! - Story/Context: This takes back to when cozy was first freed from stone. Cozy was still upset at the fact she was brought back by flurry. Flurry only visited Twilight a couple days a week for friendship/magic lessons before she had to go back to the crystal empire to help her parents. This meaning twilight had to watch over her in the meantime. Twilight was unsure at first but then felt bad as cozy was now weak and she didn’t even bother to fight back or escape. Twilight thinks she can have one final chance for redemption and cozy tries her best to believe she can change. But her memories of her parents still play in her head. Cozy’s parents were in prison for neglecting her, and cozy snitches on her parents to her hometown neighbors and lied that her parents beat her up and cozy would punch a tree to look like she was beat up by her parents (since cozy’s parents lied to everyone that they loved her so everypony assumed they were a happy family) buttttt her parents didn’t care enough up to even bother hitting her, BUT they did verbally and emotionally abuse her with manipulation and yelling to which cozy learned from them and used it against them to get away from them. Once they were taken away she used her manipulation skills to get what she never had in life thinking it was the only way she could cope with everything that happened to her. She couldn’t trust anyone and wanted to be in control. That’s how she got her cutie mark. In the end she meets up with Flurry Heart and Luster Dawn who Cozy she meets for the first time. Cozy was still afraid Flurry would be mad at her from their last argument but Flurry knew she was going through a rough time so she couldn’t stay mad at her. They have a picnic for the rest of the afternoon and for the first time, cozy feels somewhat happy and comfortable to be there with the two of them. Cozy glow couldn't be redeemed, she literally stayed at the friendship school for a decent amount and even became twilight friendship assistant, cozy glow KNEW AND COULD have been morally good but she saw friendship as a powerful tool into becoming stronger her cutie mark literally symbolize her manipulative nature and her talent for strategic thinking and control.
