I am beyond disgusted with these comments yes, Japan was not surrendering during World War II. I’m fully aware of that however but that does not justify the millions of lives that were lost because of the atomic bombs and the radiation poison so many died from. How much we may hit the government or the military power of a certain country that will never justify attacking innocent civilians. There are survivors to the state that have PTSD and have suffered so much throat their lifetime because of this horrific event

Y’all need to see that regardless of anything that happened, killing innocent civilians is WRONG. Hiroshima had a little base but was mostly civilians, as for Nagasaki, it was literally a mistake because of the wind as they were not supposed to be bombed here, so many people died for literally NOTHING. And before you comment, I am absolutely not on Japan’s side and always said that they were one of the real villains in WW2, but regardless of where you stand, civilians should never get involved in war that the GOVERNMENT started period.

Dropping the bomb was a show of power, no it’s not rights, but it help end the war, if United States had to fight across the mainland of Japan, both side would of had way more casualties.
