they are both right. dont wait around expecting or hoping for change, take action. But without voting you found a work around to the issue, without addressing the issies. politicians are not allocating the proper resources to those communities, which is failing their communities and constituents.

If we read about civil rights then we would know how voting has improved the lives of every African American my father grew up under Jim Crow laws had to be passed so that black children had access to update to date learning material. Voting is not everything but he is confusing voting with asking for government handouts.
