they was great for sure at one time. there was a Grey pad I used for years on bushhog blades that would eat a bolt off. the company needs to come back with the aggressive pad

do the same thing with a cheap Walter backing pad and regular sanding disk for probably half the price

Seems great for the right application. I've never had any issue running a flapper. I call them feathering discs because that's exactly what I use them for. Just barely touching up the surface or maybe even a light polish.

Not too bad I thought it would be really expensive but actually the discs themselves are about half the price of what a 3M Cubitron is. The backers are pricey so the kit with the backer will run you about the same as Cubitron may want to check into these though.

Im a carpenter that got into metal fab. I just use my belt sander. Easier to sand steal down, flat, and square
