Because of your tiktoks I’ve gotten into the habit of aggressively correcting people when they say, “social security is going to run out.” You’ve explained that and so many other things so very well (I’m an Econ major a decade ago and I’ve said this before and I’ll say again I do wish I’d had you as a professor you are THE BEST and and most succinct and empathetic thinker and explainer of concepts). My friends tease me about social security every time it comes up (“yes, we know it’s not going to ‘run out’ 🙄” they say) and obviously this current admin is 🥴 and with little/no moral fortitude from our public servants, many once unimaginable things have become reality BUT I am ever grateful for the education and rigorous intelligence you provide! Happy anniversary!

Please use your expertise to analyze the student loan catastrophe. My daughter has 3 degrees including a doctorate but she will never be able to pay off her student loans because of the interest charges.
