@ravebbybryce: This is the first relationship I’ve been in where my partner has not only completely understood what my sensory needs look like, but he also knows when I need the help just by watching me. I was having a hard morning and was really starting to crash out so he said that I needed to lay down for a blanket burrito moment. I argued back saying it wouldn’t help, but he even set up the camera to show me how quickly it helps me to relax & this was us less than two minutes later back to our giggly selves together. I’m so thankful to have a husband that understands all the ways that autism affects me and my life and is so gentle with how he handles situations where he sees me struggling to keep it together. #autismacceptance #autismawareness
