Can confirm: this isn’t an issue across all deli meat. I work in sourcing and have toured multiple deli meat facilities. Some companies actually take sanitation and safety extremely seriously. And if you’re still worried about it, just heat up the deli meat on the stove to 165 before eating.

These plants hire QA Food scientists who’s whole job (they are licensed) is to make sure the manufacturing process is up to standard - if these plants have these conditions it means the Management is ignoring their recommendations.

I’ve delivered to that facility as a truck driver it was HORRIBLE. I couldn’t believe it was producing human food.

Boar’s Head is supposed to be the best of the best. If it’s happening in their plants, it’s happening everywhere. Yeah I’m staying away from deli meat.

Once Chevron was overturned by SCOTUS I stopped eating deli meat. Seems I should have started sooner bc I used to eat Boars Head salami. Seems I won’t ever go back
