This is what I tried with him. I believed in him. I encouraged him to grow. I knew we could build an empire together. I just wanted him to do something that would meet me halfway way. I was motivated and driven back then. I just wanted him to figure out what he wanted because I couldn't do it for him. But I would have supported anything he did as long as it was something that made him happy and feel purpose. He said I was too much, too emotional, overwhelming and that is who he was. I saw he wanted to float through life which to me was unrealistic. His stagnancy wasn't something I wanted for us. He didn't take accountability for his part that was wrong in our relationship. I made myself small to keep him and I was losing my soul and I had to painfully walk away while deep in love. I moved forward with my future and achieved my career goals. He later said how proud of me he was. I wonder if he realized what he could've had if he just met me halfway. 💔
