They LOVE when you’ve researched into a program they have that aligns with your philanthropic passions. * 3. What challenges in school & your personal life have you had to overcome & what did it teach you about yourself(CHEAT CODE: make the traits that you learned about yourself the same traits that you’ll need to thrive in med school)? * 4. Tell us about your volunteer/ research (EXPLAIN the sciency stuff FIRST but then elaborate on a special connection you made or a life changing event that happened through these activities), * 5. “tell us about yourself” (DIVE INTO YOUR HOBBIES AND ALL OTHER THINGS THAT YOU LOVE TO DO- they eat this sh*t up). Pro Tip, there hearts always melted when I told them that my family was my everything and I was a family oriented man * 6.
