Imagine Chinese cooking techniques paired with Thai ingredients and local taste. This is exactly the ingredients for a great Pad Kra Pao, here's how to easily cook it at home: 300gr minced beef (pork, chicken or tofu work as well) 2-3 Thai chilis (use less for less spicy) 5 cloves of garlic 1 shallot 1 bag of holy basil 1 tbsp soy sauce 1 tsp dark soy sauce 1 tbsp oyster sauce 1 tsp fish sauce 0,5 tsp sugar 1. Chop the garlic, shallot and chilis. 2. Wash and remove the big stalks from the holy basil. 3. Stir fry garlic, shallot and chilis in some oil 4. Add beef once the shallots become translucent. 5. Stir fry the mince until it starts to brown and add all seasonings. 6. Mix well and add the holy basil. 7. Stir fry until the leafs are wilted. 8. Serve with white rice. (Optionally you can top with a fried egg.) Enjoooooy! #padkrapao #thaicooking
