Struggling with your press on nails popping off? Here’s why the angle you apply them at is so important⬇️ 1. The incorrect way of sliding it from tip to cuticle not only causes a gluey mess, but it pushes all the glue upwards and doesn’t evenly bond the press on nails to your natural nails.❌ 2. The other incorrect way is starting in the middle and pushing down. The cuticle area is the most important area to have glued down, because that is where the lifting will happen when they’re ready to come off. And by using this angle, the cuticle is not going to be glued down very well and this will also cause another gluey mess❌ 3. The correct angle: a 45 degree angle wherein you are starting at the cuticle, then slowly pushing down from there. This will allow the glue to evenly coat the nail and you’ll have a less messy and straight nail application. ✅ ALWAYS MAKE SURE TO HOLD EACH NAIL DOWN FIRMLY AT LEAST 30 SECONDS! Make sure once you glue the nail down that you don’t release any pressure for 30 seconds (at least!). Make sure to avoid water as long as possible so you can give the glue time to bond.
