I have lived with several elderly people with Alzheimer's disease over my career and I wish their sundowning went so smoothly. He is an angel!

My dads sundowners yesterday was awful. He pushed me told me to get out and then put a chair behind his door so no one could get into his room. After an hr he came out to use the bathroom saw me and gave gave me an evil look. I don’t understand how he can’t remember things but always remembers if he’s mad at me. 💔💔💔

Wow, he was mild with his Sundowning. I could only wish for that. My dad was wild, screaming very agited. Not a pretty picture. He lasted 6 yrs with dementia, longest journey ever. Not to mention it’s not easy unless you have help from professionals which we were fortunate to have!
