@lukesgoldies: This is 100x easier than my water changes I did in my basement, going tank to take with pumps and hoses to drain and refill. So I own a pond and do this! Get. Cheap solar setup, 2 batteries few panels “I got mine used” and have the well run every day for x time. This will keep fresh water always in tanks and works Amazing! And free power!

Solid plan. Not sure if it’s technically the same as a percentage water change but you haven’t seen numbers to worry about that. Perhaps the generator needs a fire safe platform but you’re likely not running it in an unsafe way.
