My dad fell as he was getting on the bus after getting off the plane on the tarmac - he said he realised he’s now old because it’s the first time he’s fallen and not a single person laughed 😂

No age limit 😁 If you fall and get back up yourself, you fell over. If you fall and can't get yourself back up, you had a fall.

I'm scottish, last time I went down, I mashed my face into a kerb and lost about 12 hours of memory, that has never returned, when I tell the story, I didnt fall over, I didnt have a fall, I "cunted it".

Aged care say "he didn't technically have a fall because he was still holding onto the handrail while crying out from the bathroom when we found him on the floor and we helped him back up". So it comes full circle. Fell over, had a fall, fell over. One is a reportable incident. 😭

I thought of this question raised by Dr. Toni Lodge last week when I passed out (Covid + POTS meant my heart had a party) - I had to conclude I had a fall….only because I blacked out so the fall happened to me

I fell over & over extended my shoulder trying to catch myself, went to dr, on the ultrasound and X-ray referrals it started HAD A FALL .. I’m 39 .. still say I fell over
