@tribenursing: We had a trauma patient, flatline for 20 minutes. Doc was about to call it when the monitor jumped. Strong pulse. He survived. Later he told us he remembered floating above the room, describing details he couldn’t have known. That’s the day I knew a higher power is real #nursetok #nursetiktok #nurselife #nurse #nursesoftiktok

Doing multiple rounds of cpr on a patient . Few weeks later I’m in the patient transport elevator and someone goes “excuse me what’s your name you’re voice sounds familiar and I’ve had a dreams about you” turns out it was the patient I had done cpr on. He said “I knew I’d see you again in person one day because he told me so and I’m glad I get to say thank you in person” 😭😭😭😭

I was pregnant with my daughter during covid but we didn't know she a little girl at the time. I had a patient( not mine) insist on talking to me before they left post surgery. The patient looked at me and said your grandmother (whom had passed and was a huge beliver in God) wanted me to say hi to your beautiful girl. 9 months later I delivered our sweet baby girl. God is soo Good!!

I was pregnant with my first baby working with a pediatric hospice patient. Not showing at all on a thinner body frame, and I had just found out I was expecting. I walked into her room, she was about 6, and pointed at my belly and said “I see your baby in there, he’s a cute little a boy” and proceeded to wave to him saying “hi baby!” I walked out shocked, in disbelief on how she knew. 9 months later I delivered my baby boy. She passed away passed away the day after she “saw” him in my belly that day. 🪽🪽🪽

CNA here. I was bedside as one of my patients was crossing over. She had spoken in several weeks. She opens her eyes, squeezed my hand and said "He told me this was your sign". All the lights got really bright in the room and she took her last breath. For years I had been struggling with faith and I asked God to prove to me he was real that faith alone was not enough...God spoke through her in her dying moment so I could believe. GOD IS REAL

20 years as a nurse. My experiences have led me to believe there isn’t. And religion is a crutch.

I have been a nurse 34 years. I had an angel encounter I saw but the patient spoke of first. I have also seen a dead man pronounced come back to life an hour later after post-mortem care, and he talked about heaven. I also have been with that dying patien in ICU screaming he was burning being taken to hell. That haunts me over twenty years later. I have witnessed the Lord Jesus in some other powerful ways. Jesus Christ is the Savior!

Yup, people say they trust science more than the higher power, but they need to realize .. it’s science who studies what our creator created . That’s God.

I was in Pediatric home care , (babies with trachs and ventilators) they are usually horrible homes sadly. However this one was different, he was loved and cared for properly, they prayed over him everyday, he was born without the grooves on his brain to explain it without putting the condition name here, he wasn’t to get better. Everyday before I left I prayed over him. At 4 months old an MRI was performed because he started doing things “he should have never done” the doctors were astounded his brain was improving ❤️an irreversible condition, she was told to abort. God is good.

After my son passed. His voice came to me. So serious like I had never heard him before. Clear as ever and said “mom, I love you. Everything is going to work out.” So serious and so clear. Not a dream 💯 him.

I remember as a student a patient came in for a hit and run and I remember praying that a miracle would happen and the patient would survive as the patient was so young, throughout cpr I continued to say a small prayer and they called time of death and we even waited the two min of silence for respect after time of death. I still prayed for a miracle & once they started to body bag the patient the nurse felt a pulse and the patient came back to life. I don’t think I’ve cried for a patient like that in my life.

I’m not a nurse but I had a baby last month and it saved my life. During labor I randomly lost vision in one eye and the doctors thought I was having a stroke. Got sent for imaging while in active labor and had a stroke workup. They found a brain tumor. Doctors said if I continued laboring I would have an aneurysm and die. I had an emergency c section and am scheduled for brain surgery next month and then on to chemo and such. The neurologist said it was a total miracle that we found it how we did and when we did and that God had his hand on me. Baby is happy and healthy and I will be too once we take care of my brain 💛 God is good

As a nursing student on my L&D rotation…the first birth I was able to watch brought tears to my eyes. I will never forget thinking how anyone could witness the birth of a child and not believe it was the work of God?

When my pt who was dnr died…. As he was dying I sat in the room with him and prayed over him… prayers I had never prayed before things like may you be overwhelmed by the splendor of heaven…. I literally felt angels and god in the room with me…. He went from a wide complex bradycardia to complete asystole as I prayed. I did not know this man’s faith. When his family arrived I found out he was a Christian who kept a daily prayer journal. I cried on my home because I realized that God had orchestrated this moment in this time for him. Before I was even born God knew I would be a part of his story. I still cry EVERYTIME I talk about it. Words cannot always explain the unexplainable but I now have absolutely no fear of death bc I now have a SMALL picture of what happens when we die.

Trauma ICU 1990. I was caring for a man who was in a very bad car accident. He had sustained many very serious injuries and was in critical condition. His wife was at the bedside, recounting the accident to me. She stated that after the accident, she pulled her husband out of the car because she was afraid the car was going to blow up. She said she held him in the middle of the road and just prayed. She said at some point a woman came and knelt down beside her and prayed with her. She said she could see her husband's blood all over the woman's hands. After some time the ambulance arrived and took her husband away. She asked the paramedics where the woman was that was praying with her. The paramedics said when they arrived, it was just her and her husband.

Hospice nursing. I saw some in complete torment during the last days that were not believers, no matter what we did it was so difficult to keep pain controlled etc. and then the believers who went from non verbal to singing praises at the end. It was palpable

For those saying if God exists why is there bad? You can’t control what people do and call it love. That’s Control, free will is the decision to do right and to love God back
