As a Mexican from the Yucatan Peninsula, I just can't understand why people like swimming in cenotes 😭 it's literally bones soup. AND most people don't understand or know that they have to ask permission to the aluxes (guardians of the cenotes) to enter. Plus cenotes are super deep and dark 😩

This freaks me out. I went on a similar tour there, and were cliff jumping in our Cenote. 😞 I do remember that the water was eerie and dark.
