@botakspirit: Bukit Timah Hidden Mysterious Tomb The Bukit Timah Nature Reserve is home to a fascinating Chinese tomb—the grave of Wang Lou Niang (王楼娘). According to the inscriptions, she married into the Xu family (许门) and passed away on December 29, 1941. Although it’s unclear which village she originated from, it’s likely that she was buried at Bukit Timah due to feng shui considerations. The tomb is located along the Cave Path within the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve. To find it, you need to be quite vigilant. Look for a small stream with a pond beneath a bridge—that's your landmark! From there, walk down 12 steps, and you’ll reach the location. As you descend the slope, the grave is almost invisible, concealed by the lower ground and the angle of sight. Only by walking down the slope will you be able to see it. It's intriguing to wonder why this tomb hasn't been removed. Perhaps it holds historical significance, or maybe it belongs to someone notable? I did some research using ChatGPT and Google, and they mentioned that there are no tombs in Bukit Timah Nature Reserve. So why is this tomb right in front of me? #exploresg🇸🇬 #nparks #hiddentomb #mysterioustomb #bukittimahtomb

You guys will understand Spore was bombed by the Japanese 🇯🇵 at that time and the ong Kongsi cemetery at Bukit brown as well as the main cemetery was closed for burial . My great grand father was about the last few corpse to reach Bukit brown before the main gates were closed on the eve of the bombing. So perhaps understandable it was very difficult to get undertakers willing to risk burying the dead - thus it may have been decided to bury her there away from the prying eyes of the invading soldiers then…in a forested place…

The Japanese built the fictitious grave in order to scare the public from going near the cave. The cave was used by Japanese to store ammunition.
